The Rare Minerals Palette – Colors extracted from nature

Elmwood has always drawn inspiration from nature. Its resources are rich, and so are its hues. Our new paint and stain palette is based on just that: drawing inspiration from nature in the most raw and rich way.

Introducing Rare Minerals:

A color palette inspired by raw and precious minerals, resulting in magnificent spaces that exude singularity. Like the gems that inspired them, these colors gradually reveal their complexity, offering new dimensions as daylight transitions to dusk.

These long-standing partnerships have strengthened local businesses and sustained a reputation recognized across North America.​ The 25% tariff on Canadian cabinet imports, taking effect on October 14 and set to double in January, is unjustified. Canada is not a low-cost country dumping cabinets at artificially low prices.​ Tariffs on truly canadian cabinets miss the mark.​ They don’t protect this industry — they disrupt it. Unjustified tariffs threaten Canadian cabinet manufacturing and our shared future​. On Monday, September 29, the U.S. Administration announced a 25% tariff on Canadian cabinet imports, set to double to 50% in January. This decision is unjustified and unfair. ​ Canada is not a low-cost country dumping cabinets at artificially low prices. For over 40 years, Canadian manufacturers like Cabico&co have been respectful, fair-market competitors, bringing value and craftsmanship to U.S. partners. Even the American cabinet industry itself — through a letter from AKCA to President Trump on September 19 — focused on low-cost imports from China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Mexico. Canada wasn’t even mentioned.​ ​So why target Canada? Many in the U.S. industry are asking the same question. These tariffs don’t protect American jobs. Instead, they punish long-standing North American partners who have always played fair. They contradict the spirit of the USMCA trade agreement, and they hurt thousands of hardworking families on both sides of the border.​ At Cabico&co, our commitment remains unshaken:​ We are committed to delivering quality with a Human Touch, standing by our U.S. dealer partners in both good times and hard times, and building bridges rather than barriers. ​ Now more than ever, we believe in our shared values, the resilience of our industry, and the strength of our partnerships.​
