CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator. The CNC Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting to ensure the production of high-quality products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Your role.

On a daily basis, the successful candidate will:  

    • Custom design programs and machine Template.
    • Run the machine independently and efficiently.
    • Select the program in the system according to the desired operation: resurfacing, changing tools.
    • Analyze the condition of machining tools to determine the level of wear and make the required change.
    • Prepare machining tools in advance and measure their parameters.
    • Manage the inventory of machining tools: to repair, replace and sharpen.
    • Solve problems related to quality or machining sequence.
    • Perform equipment maintenance.
    • Replace label rolls.
    • Solve problems related to the application of labels.
    • Inspect and measure machined parts as required.
    • Insert into production, parts requests, recoveries, and emergencies.
    • Adjust production sequences as needed.
    • Complete maintenance and IT work orders.
    • Participate in problem solving with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with planning during readjustments of production schedules.
    • Assist operators in performing certain tasks.
    • Inspect and verify material against customer order, record/report shortages and reject damaged material and products.
    • Meet all quality, productivity, and scheduling standards in a safe and timely manner.
    • Represent, support, and uphold the company Core Values and Management Philosophy.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    To successfully meet this challenge, we are looking for a person driven by the values of respect, teamwork, commitment, and pride with the following qualifications:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
    • Advanced CNC operation experience, or similar role in a related field.
    • Experience in cabinetry and/or woodworking, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with different machinery and manufacturing processes.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
    • Comfortable working in a dusty environment, exposure to varying temperatures, and strong odors.
