We are seeking an IT Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for answering queries on basic technical issues and offering advice to solve them. They will also be tasked with hardware setups and software installations. The goal is to provide efficient and effective solutions to the end user’s issues to ensure departments are running at maximum uptime.
A pivotal role in a large team.
The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for end users and provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the end user with interest of the end user at the forefront.
- Walk end users through problem-solving process.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Efficiently manage inventories.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel for both facilities.
- Record events and problems and their resolution in a ticketing system.
- Plan and follow up with end users to ensure their issue has been resolved.
- Gain feedback from end users to improve global IT service.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
- Write training manuals.
- Train end users.
- Participate in the team’s continuous improvement process.
- Represent, support, and uphold the company Core Values and Management Philosophy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, with a strong focus on help desk operations.
- Proficiency in computer networking concepts and practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware issues.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with users at all levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
- Bilingual is a strong asset.
